RHIDORROCH DISTILLERY BAR & EATERY
Opening July 2025 at 6 Shore St, Ullapool
Our prime waterfront location offers breathtaking views from both levels, complemented by a sheltered drinks garden out the back, and front-facing seating that overlooks Ullapool’s harbour. The historic building, known previously as The Frigate under Katie’s grandfather’s management 30 years ago, was a popular local establishment that he continuously evolved and improved on.
Katie and Lawrie began renovating in 2023, starting with a complete roof replacement and progressing through every level of the building. The project addressed structural issues while preserving the building’s character and heritage.
In July 2025, the new Rhidorroch Distillery Bar and Eatery will offer a fantastic new space with delicious drinks, a café with cakes and coffees, a small distillery shop, artisan charcuterie and cheese boards from Scotland’s Highlands for lunch and into the evening, as well as a drinks garden which traps the sun beautifully.
