In the heart of Scotland’s Northwest Highlands, Katie and Lawrie are making a family dream come to life — distilling in one of the most spectacular places imaginable.
Katie grew up on the Rhidorroch Estate, where her family has lived for three generations. The beauty and abundance of Glen Achall inspired her father’s dream of building a distillery, a vision Katie shared, and was determined to fulfil. Lawrie brought his love for building and entrepreneurial spirit to the partnership, and together, they’ve created something truly special.

A Taste of the Highlands
Loch Achall Gin captures the essence of Glen Achall through carefully selected local botanicals. We hand-pick gorse flowers, rowan berries, heather, and wild juniper from around the loch and its surrounding hills.
Whether it’s horse riding to the heathery hills, climbing rock faces to reach the juniper bushes that dangle off the cliffs, picking coconut-scented gorse flowers from the loch side on sunny days, or collecting rowan berries during autumn evenings, we dedicate ourselves to sourcing the finest natural ingredients.
